It will be co-organized by the Mongolian side and the World Economic Forum (WEF) and is expected to bring together 150 delegates from over 30 countries and international organizations.
The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj will deliver a speech at the meeting. In addition, sub-meetings on water resources, responsible mining and partnership combat with corruption will continue until September 16 in the State House.
The WEF plans to draw up a draft developmental strategy for Mongolia until 2040 based on some 150 interviews, surveys and piece of information obtained from both Mongolia and abroad. A project on it will be presented at the meeting by a strategic policy team at the WEF on September 15. Related opinions and proposals will be received from representatives of the Mongolia state, private sector and civil society.
Results of the round table meeting will be introduced to a plenary meeting of the 44th WEF to be held in January, 2014 in Davos, Switzerland.
