The Ambassador of Canada Mr Gregory Goldhawk said it Friday being received by the Foreign Minister of Mongolia L.Bold. He granted to the Minister a note about this decision.
Mr Bold emphasized that the cabinet for reforms is paying special attention to facilitating the visa terms for Mongolians visiting abroad, and then thanked the Canadian side for the decision.
In turn, Mr Goldhawk expressed satisfaction with increasing of the numbers of Mongolian visitors to Canada and of Mongolian students studying in Canada. “This is a vital step to make a mutual non visa agreement,” Mr Goldhawk said.
The sides underlined that the official visit of Mongolia’s Speaker was the well-timed event for the ties, and expressed their satisfaction with implementation of works being done in frames of the visit.
The parties also exchanged views on measures can be taken for deepening the bilateral relations and cooperation on occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Mongolia-Canada diplomatic relations.
