Beginning the meeting, the Minister congratulated Mr Thiedemann on being appointed as the new Ambassador to Mongolia, and expressed his satisfaction with collaborating with him in deepening the bilateral mutually-trusted, friendly and comprehensive partnership relations.
L.Bold noted that the Presidential election of Mongolia has been organized successfully and the incumbent President won this election. He emphasized an importance of introducing a German experience of election law for amending the same law of Mongolia.
In turn, Mr Thiedemann said that he has been appointed as the Ambassador to Mongolia by his request. “Mongolia-Germany relations and cooperation have been intensively developing in many spheres, so we must maintain the intensity of bilateral ties,” Mr Thiedemann underlined, and added that he has a willingness to share his experience in the cooperation with the North Korea and in the economic and development issues.
At the meeting, head of the parliamentary Standing committee on petitions and leader of the Mongolia-Germany inter-parliamentary group R.Burmaa said Mongolia intends to collaborate in altering the laws and resolutions on election and political parties, granting the political education to people and founding a political fund.
