Attending the 37th UNESCO General Conference in Paris, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia L.Bold Tuesday met with Mr Laurent Fabius, his counterpart from France.
Noting his recent official visit to Mongolia as a crucial step in developing Mongolia-France relations and cooperation, Mr Fabius emphasized an importance of fostering bilateral ties in the areas of economy, defense, culture, humanity, education, science, agriculture and bio-technology.
The Foreign Ministers, then, shared views on regional and international matters of mutual interest.
Mr L.Fabius’ official visit to Mongolia on October 25-26 was the first one at Foreign Ministerial level since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries. The visit has been regarded as a demonstration of mutual aspiration to bring the Mongolia-France friendly relations to the level of a “comprehensive partnership”.
